Grow where you are planted

Some time life take us to situations or places we don´t want to be. We struggle to find a way out, a solution or to see the light. But maybe we just need to be a moment in silence listening to ourselves, to breath, to relax. Maybe in that moment a kind of insight could come to us and we can realize that if we can´t change the situation , then, if we look it deeply, we can take some advantage of it, or just we can just accept it the way it is.

I painted this floral quote as a reminder that we can develop wherever we are. This is a wonderful quote to motivate us everyday, it is an invitation to see our lives under a different light. So,"grow where you are planted". I hope you like it as much I as do!

Tilly and Floss logo design

Lovely Rosie, from Tilly and Floss, wrote me to ask me to paint a logo for her beautiful shop. She saw a floral illustration in my Instagram account and told me that she wanted something similar for her logo. She liked the lettering I used, too. Louise May Alcott quote

I always loved to read Little women when I was a child and that´s the reason why I decided to paint a beautiful quote by the lovely american writer Louisa May Alcott.

"The power of finding beauty in the humblest things makes home happy and life lovely" When I read these words I knew I needed to create something with them. I wanted to do something delicate and joyful at the same time. I have this illustration in a corner of my home and every time I read it I feel quite happy! It reminds me that the most simple things in life can bring us a complete joy.
